Hollier – “Reckless love”
-There’s a quality to the guitars on this track that just stands out. Then the vocal starts… whew. Dang these boys can sing. I can’t help but draw the comparison to David Ramirez. There’s a grizzly sincerity to the track that definitely connects with us on this track. Part country, part alt rock, but with a whole lot of sizzling attitude, the song feels like it was tailor made for taking a trip with someone you love regardless of the consequences. This is a “go for broke” anthem and we are here for it.

Hollier – “Devil’s in the Details”: Jayson’s DJ Pick of the Week

“Devil’s in the Details” by Hollier is Jayson’s DJ Pick of the Week! Hollier released the track on Friday, ahead of his Nashville Sunday Night performance at 3rd & Lindsley. The track is Hollier at his very finest. It’s rock, it’s jazz and its a little country. “Devils in the Details” demands to be played loud, so you can hear every lyric, every instrument, every note.

Hey! Listen: Hollier - Adobe & Teardrops

As the doldrums of winter start to lift, my body is physically aching to go somewhere else. Hollier's got that wanderlust, too. After a barnstormer of a tour to promote his first EP, Hollier's resurrecting fond memories in "Jeff Buckley's Ghost." If the name sounds familiar, I featured "Wrestle My Heart" way back in episode 86 of the podcast. What I appreciate is Hollier's ability to dance between the lines of pop and alternative music: this could and should be on somebody's radio (don't worry -- the song "War Cry" has racked up 300k streams on Spotify), and his songs carry enough heft to make you feel something.

Music Mecca - Jeff Buckley’s Ghost

Freeing and playful, “Jeff Buckley’s Ghost” is the newest addition to Hollier’s catalog. Country twang mixes with the soul of rock and roll to create a most satisfying listening experience. The imagery and clever twist of words give it a humorous feel, while the intentionally heartfelt and liberating melody has you melting under the rays of the sun.

Alt77 - The White LIes Review

…The White Lies shines especially in terms of melodies and sound production. Both harken back to an era where music was designed to appeal to as large a fanbase as the radio stations and jukeboxes would afford artists. There’s a shimmer and a tenderness to the sound of this that are highly appealing.

Bristol Herald Show Review

…Like a highway that canvases America, Hollier winds and curves, speeds and slows in search of whatever breathes beyond the horizon.
